Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 batch Small-Batch Pizza Dough for Two, or store-bought pizza dough
  • ½ cup No-Cook Pizza Sauce, or your favorite pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese, or more as desired
  • 6 slices deli-style pepperoni, or more as desired
  • Hot honey, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Stretch the pizza dough into a 12 to 14-inch round.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edge. Top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.
  4. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Drizzle with hot honey. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Pepperoni: Deli-style pepperoni gives you pepperoni in almost every bite. For a cup-and-char effect, use thicker-cut pepperoni with a natural casing.
  • Hot honey: Add as much or as little as you like depending on your preferred level of sweetness and heat.
  • Storage: Store leftover pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days.
  • Reheating: Reheat in a 375°F oven or toaster oven until warmed through and the crust is crisp. You can add another drizzle of hot honey after reheating.
  • Timing assumes the pizza dough is already prepared. If making my Small-Batch Pizza Dough for Two from scratch, allow about 1 additional hour.
